I was born in Cranbrook, B.C. and grew up in Calgary, Alberta, where I developed a strong passion for the performing arts. I trained in dance, singing, piano and acting and was a member of the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede. After I completed high school, I danced professionally on cruise ships around the world for Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, as well as performed in musical theatre productions across Canada.

However, performing on stage wasn't my only passion. From a young age, I fostered a sincere love for writing and exploring literature. A few years ago, I decided to develop some of my talents that had been waiting in the wings while I was performing. I entered the communications program at the University of Calgary and haven't looked back since.

I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies with Distinction and also successfully completed the Public Relations Knowledge exam with the Canadian Public Relations Society. Since my entrance into the world of corporate communications, I've developed an extensive portfolio that includes working in communications roles for Nexen Energy ULC, BrokerLink Canada, TransAlta Corporation and Alberta Theatre Projects. Most recently, I worked as a marketing assistant for the SAIT MacPhail School of Energy and as an online writer for Branded Magazine.

On June 21, 2016, I moved to Vancouver, B.C. where I'm currently working as an Associate at NATIONAL Public Relations, as well as an arts reporter for the Georgia Straight and Daily Hive. From beaches and waterfront paths, to cool restaurants and lounges, to yoga, barre and spin studios, there seems to be an endless amount of fun things to do here in Vancouver and I'm loving every minute. Thanks for following my adventures!
