Alberta Theatre Projects miss the mark with 'The Circle'

October 25, 2015 Vince Kanasoot

I have bad news....I attended opening night of Alberta Theatre Projects' (ATP) latest play, The Circle this past Friday, October 23, and I was very disappointed with what I saw. Hailed by ATP as a provocative and brave depiction of the dangerous time of youth, there was tremendous hype leading up to Friday's world premiere of the show, which made it all the more disappointing. Despite ATP's best efforts, The Circle, written by local playwright Geoffrey Simon Brown is a hollow effort that leaves you feeling empty and unsatisfied. Read my full review here.
